Oct. 7 (UPI) — A California woman who feared her pet cat had died in a 2018 wildfire used to be reunited with the pussycat 23 months later when he used to be found by a neighbor.
Lindsy Metz said she and her children had most appealing 30 minutes to evacuate as the Camp Fire approached their Magalia home, so when their 8-one year-aged sad cat, Artemis, fled from the house, there used to be no time to head look for him.
“He used to be like minded there by the door and I went to head bag him, and I ran up on him too rapid, and he bolted,” Metz told KRCR-TV.
Metz said she tried to search out Artemis for months after the fireplace handed.
“I went and appeared at each single cat describe,” Metz said. “I known as on each sad cat.”
