Almost all recordings currently available on modern devices are in HD (High Definition) format. It is very important to know how to beautify high resolution recorded video when uploading to the internet or playing on TV. With Sony Vegas, you can quickly choose from a variety of presets to complete HD rendering in no time. See step 1 below for how to do this.
Enable GPU acceleration. If you have a compatible graphics card installed, you can use it to reduce display time and adjust some processes on the CPU. Click Options and select Settings from the bottom of the list.
Click the Video tab.

The main difference between NTSC and PAL is the frame rate used (29,970 vs. 25).
If you want to record at a higher frame rate than standard NTSC or PAL (such as 60 fps), choose the model that suits your resolution.

Select the output format. A list of available formats appears in the Rendering menu as well as in the Output Formats section. There is a lot of debate about which format is best, but there are three formats that are generally considered best for HD video.

Sony AVC / MVC (* .mp4, * .m2ts, * .avc)
MainConcept produces the fastest render times when using GPU acceleration.
Sony AVC is perfect for the Vegas version.
Expand the format you want to use. For example, if you use MainConcept, expand MainConcept to see all the templates available for that type. Choose the best template for your video.
If you want to create 720p video in MainConcept, “Internet HD720p ” “Choose. If you want to create 1080p video, “Internet HD 1080p ” “Choose.
