Look for tablets and liquids that contain phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine as active ingredients.
Excessive use of decongestants can dry the airways and cause a dry cough.
Use nasal drops only for 2-3 days. After a little more, the block may actually get worse.

Differences in how to handle a cough
Liquid syrup. To treat sputum and dry cough, it is important to meet the need for water. The liquid helps relieve sputum drips from the throat that cause coughing. Inhale warm steam. Take a warm bath and breathe steam. This can cause a cough in the nose, which can open and penetrate the chest, causing a cough. There are other ways to help humidify the dry air that can cause a cough. At night, turn on the humidifier and inhale hot steam.
This method is useful for coughing with fever, allergies and asthma.
The humidifier should be cleaned regularly . Or it can cause more problems than it helps to fix the problem. Molds and bacteria can build up inside the product and spread into the air with moisture.
Change the way you cough. When your throat begins to itch, you can instinctively start coughing violently, but slow coughing can help you get rid of your cough faster. This is especially useful when spitting. When you start coughing, do it slowly and several times, ending with a strong cough. A small cough slowly pulls sputum into the airways, and a large cough pushes it out.
Such a cough helps prevent inflammation of the throat. Sore throat can cause multiple coughs, so keeping your throat irritated will help you fight faster.
Removes irritants from the air. Chronic cough is often caused or exacerbated by irritants in the air. These ingredients can cause inflammation of the chronic sinuses and can cause a chronic cough due to sputum accumulation. The most troublesome thing is smoking cigarettes.
Bathroom perfumes and deodorants are also known to cause chronic coughing and should be avoided at least during the cough if you want to get rid of the cough quickly.
