While you can turn the contents of your car into a comfortable bed, you can take a nap at any time during your trip if you feel tired or want to save on accommodation.
Sometimes sleeping in a car becomes necessary and unavoidable, especially if you find it difficult to stay awake while driving and no one can take your place.
There are many ways to make your car a safe and comfortable place to sleep on long journeys.
#1 travel preparation
1. Bring a comfortable bed. Whether you leave your car overnight or your friend only sleeps for an hour or two behind the wheel, the interior of the car should be comfortable for sleeping.
While you can still fall asleep without changing the interior of your car, your sleep may be uncomfortable. If you plan on staying in your car overnight, and not just while driving, it’s a good idea to have a few things ready.
